The Health Insurance Marketplace is a service designed to help individuals and families shop for and enroll in health insurance. Operated by the federal government through HealthCare.gov, it serves most states, though some states manage their own Marketplaces.

Here’s how the Marketplace works:

- You can shop for health plans, compare options, and enroll through websites, call centers, or with in-person help.

- Small businesses can use the SHOP Marketplace to offer health insurance to employees.

When you apply through the Health Insurance Marketplace, you’ll provide household and income details. Based on this, you’ll find out if you qualify for:

- Premium tax credits and other savings

- Coverage through Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) in your state

On HealthCare.gov, you may need to enter your ZIP code or select your state. If your state operates its own Marketplace, you’ll be directed to the correct website.

Let Aura Insure help you navigate the Marketplace and find affordable coverage today!
