You May Qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP)

You do NOT have to wait until Open Enrollment if you:

  • Were laid off or left a job

  • Lost employer coverage

  • Lost Medicaid

  • Turned 26 and aged off a parent’s plan

  • Got divorced

  • Moved to a new state


In most cases, you have 60 days from the date your coverage ended to enroll in a Marketplace (ACA) plan.


That window is important. Missing it could mean waiting until November.
